The Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Autumn Winter 2013 collection is just to die for!

Lace, frills, embellishments....heaven.

I could have drawn every single look from this beautiful collection but i had to restrain myself to just one!

I chose this one worn by the stunning model, Sasha Luss and completed it using pencil and watercolour.

English summer is finally here and (I hope) to stay!

 Although the the weather is SO beautiful, i dont really like drawing in the heat so sorry about the lack of fashion illustrations!

Julien Macdonald Competition

 

I entered Julien Macdonald's sketch competition a couple of months back with this pencil and glitter fashion illustration and came second!

There where so many beautiful entries, i dont know how they chose!

  

I received this drawing by Julien Madonald a few days back i was so excited to see it had been signed by him! 

I am ever inspired by his works so it was an absolute honor to come second in his competiton.

Tatler LOVE

 

The may issue of Tatler Hong Kong is just stunning, so i had to post it!

 The red lips and jewels with the hint of Gatsby elegance.

There is something about the dark colours and elegant styling that I find so amazingly spectacular -

It's just to die for!

My month in photos (via instagram)

 

 Ive been working working working over the last month, I've had hardly any time to post on here what I have been doing so here is a summery in photos :) 

This month winter really has set in and every where is sparkling with frost - i love love love the way it looks like diamonds on all the plants and trees but NOT the fact that it is absolutely freezing! 

Earlier this month, i was contacted by the head of Armani's official Facebook page and was asked to do some drawings for their fashion illustration section - I was so excited when i was asked!! 

A few weeks ago i tried out something a bit different with coloured pencils and card and decided to draw the picture from Rihanna's new album "unapologetic" - i loved the way it turned out, i might have to start doing more of this!

I am currently doing a fashion illustration of Liu Wen using pencil and watercolour - i'll post the final illustration when im done so watch this space :)
