A little while ago I had the pleasure of creating a couple of beautiful, ethereal illustrations for new jewellery brand, Lyla Loves. So I was very excited to hear that the site is now live and I can finally share the finished illustrations with you! 

I am so happy with how the illustrations turned out - Pastel tones and bohemian elegance, LOVE.

A few months back I came across the most beautiful editorial shot by Sandro Baebler for Fashion Gone Rogue that features stunning gowns by one of my favourite designers, Alexander McQueen. 

So I went ahead and asked Sandro Baebler if I could have the pleasure of illustrating this editorial, to which he said yes! 

The images are so romantic and decadent, they actually took my breath away.

With hints of gold throughout the spread, I thought I would make a feature of the gold in my illustration by using metallic paint and who doesn't love a bit of gold?!

Recently I've been absolutely fascinated with vintage fashion and photography.

I think the thing i love the most about it is the fact that although they didnt have all the high-tech gear we have today, they still produced some of the most beautiful and iconic images!!
